  • Select or Upload a Picture - You'll first need to click the Customize a Home button to bring you to a section where you can select different home styles as a base for your roof design. Find the home style that best matches your home. If you want perfect accuracy, however, you can also upload a photograph of your home. You need to make an account and then take a clear picture. Make sure that there are no obstructions and that there is enough light in the photo.
  • Choose Your Shingle Products - The Home Remodeler includes all of GAF's shingle products. Once you choose a shingle, it will show you a preview of what your home will look like after replacing the roof. As an experienced roofing expert, we suggest selecting a lot of different shingles and shingle colors so you can determine what looks best on your home. Try and use colors that complement your exterior for maximum visual harmony.
  • Change the Exterior - You can also customize the trim color and siding color on the photograph to help create the most accurate picture of your home. Use this as a guide to help you choose the right products. You can also read the short summaries and color recommendations that the program shows every time you choose your shingles.
